At Imkaan Welfare Organization, we believe volunteerism is a transformative force that drives social change and empowers communities. Our volunteer programs invite individuals to contribute their time, skills, and compassion toward uplifting marginalized and stateless communities in Karachi, Pakistan.
Whether you’re a student, professional, or community member seeking to make a difference, volunteering with Imkaan offers a chance to work closely with local communities in Machar Colony, Orangi Town, and Korangi District helping strengthen initiatives in education, maternal and child health, legal aid, mental health, recreation, and community empowerment.
Volunteers gain hands-on experience in grassroots development, community interaction, and non-profit operations making this not only an act of service but also a journey of learning, empathy, and personal growth.
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds in the following categories:
- Legal – Support pro bono legal aid, documentation, and community awareness sessions.
- Administrative – Assist with office management, documentation, and organizational coordination.
- Field – Work directly within the community, supporting education, healthcare, and social welfare projects.
- Creative – Contribute through photography, videography, content creation, design, and storytelling.

- Attach your CV or portfolio (if applicable).
- Volunteers under 18 years must submit a signed Parent Consent Form along with their application.
